Welcome
The Maroochydore Orchid Society is a small, friendly group with members having a wealth of experience in growing orchids.

Club members grow a varied range of orchid genera under different climatic conditions and are happy to share their knowledge with you.

Cultural meetings
Place: Girl Guide Hut. Beach Rd Maroochydore.
Time: 1st Tuesday of the month (except January) commencing at 7.30pm.
The cultural meeting is an open meeting for discussion on growing of orchids and sharing of growing tips and knowledge. We have regular speakers at our cultural meetings on a variety of subjects, eg. Fertilizer, shadehouse requirements, current trends and developments and plant awards.

Flowering plants tabled by members each meeting are judged by members of our club who are judges registered with the Australian Orchid Council.

The club also co-ordinates social bus trips to local orchid nurseries and other societies.
Our club members compete in local orchid shows within the STOCQ region.
